I had the greatest honor visiting and photographing the Calavitta family.  This is because dad, Sam, was recently awarded a prestigious teaching award, the Sieman’s Award, for being one of the most recognized teachers in the nation.  He is a Calculus teacher at Fairmont Prep in Anaheim – his Calculus students ACED the AP Calculus exam – crazy, isn’t it??  Not only is he an awesome teacher, he is a father of nine, yes, NINE, children, ages 1 to 18.  I had the most amazing time, getting to know Sam, Monica, his wife, and their nine children.  I left the photo shoot inspired and was humbled by their family.

I met up with Shannon and Anthony on the shores of San Diego.  I realized that I don’t get a chance to go there enough!  They were such a fun couple – willing to do anything for the perfect photos – gotta love them just for that! We started the area by downtown San Diego for the cityscape, of course, and ended our day on the cliffs by the beach!  Check out the fun that we had & yes, they were so great with posing, they must have done this before!
