Welcome to my blog...a place where I share everything...or almost everything! I'm a lifestyle and documentary wedding & portrait photographer, living life in the awesomeness of sunny Southern California. I am a lover of (too) many things...photography, my husband, life and love, traveling, adventure, and my pup Roscoe. So, enjoy the reads and don't forget to leave some blog love. Cheers!

I walked through the doors of her hotel room at Casa del Mar and I was taken away by how beautiful she looked. She stood under the doorway and beamed from cheek to cheek. It was her wedding day…she was going to marry her soul mate.
They knew each other when they were younger but the sparks didn’t fly until they were older. They are perfect for each other. The way he looks at her and the way she looks at him in return…pure perfection. And to make it even more perfect, when they are together, they have so much fun…so much laughing…I love laughing.
I seriously fell in love with Heather and John. I am so grateful to have shared the day with them. I am even more grateful that I can call them friends. I love you guys!! Congratulations!!

I seriously la-la-LOVE fashion…I love reading about it, trying it on, buying it and photographing it. So, when I was asked to shoot the fashion spread for Parenting OC Magazine, I was so excited!
I know, I know…Parenting is a family magazine, but I didn’t mind. I figured I’d take notes for when the hubs and I decide to have kiddies, but for now, I’d concentrate on how to make these models look fierce…and fierce they did look. It’s amazing how kids under the age of 10 were able to do fashion justice by posing just like adults do. It was a great experience and there was much fun to be had.

A tent that sleeps two, sleeping bags, a propane stove top, and a bear-resistant food storage container…yes, the Lempert’s have become campers. At first, I thought that the hubby had just wanted to “try it out” and it soon became “…where should we go next?”
I must admit, camping does wonderful things for you. FREE (yes, FREE) from the internet, the computer, the editing, the emails, the cell phones, and the television. It really takes you away from what happens in your daily routine and man, it feels great! And you really, really get to know each other since you’re only other source of conversation (besides Roscoe, the dog) is your significant other.
This past weekend, we road tripped to Rock Creek Lake, located in the Eastern Sierras. It was absolutely amazing – even the drive was amazing! The air was so clean and fresh, the hikes were amazing and the scenery was mind blowing. What was not so amazing…the mosquitos! The minute you stood still, you were swarmed by every mosquito in the wilderness. Nonetheless, it was an amazing time and the Lempert’s will be back again.

I just finished wrapping up the fashion shoot for the magazine’s August issue and let me tell you, it was SO much fun! Here’s a little sneak peek of the cover…the fashion spread will be blogged soon! Check it out…
